I’m an antique collector by nature and four generations of family tradition
-- fascinated by unusual artifacts and their historical and cultural origins.
In the late 1980s – while researching tribal art in Southeast Asia -- I began
acquiring ancient glass beads used as currency during the 10-12th century Majapahit Dynasty in Java.
Since then I have steadily expanded our acquisitions, so that today our New York City bead and ethnographic arts gallery offers a worldwide collection of ancient to contemporary beads for bead enthusiasts with all types of tastes and interests.
This diverse collection features:
European and
Japanese vintage glass beads
Sterling silver
beads and components
19th Century
and contemporary Czech glass beads
Japanese delica
seed beads
Semi-precious
stones
Brass beads
from India
Indonesian
glass beads
Antique and
ancient collector beads
Bone, wood
and ethnic beads
Charms and
amulets.
